Lagavulin 12 Year Old is an Islay single malt, known for an intense, deeply smoky character. It is matured in oak and bottled at cask strength, taken straight from the cask. Intense peat dominates the nose, with vanilla and dried fruit. The palate has an oily texture and a lasting taste of bitter chocolate and smoked wood, with a subtle salty aftertaste.
