This is a 12 year old Lagavulin single malt from Islay, released as the 2024 Special Release "Fireside Tales". It is bottled at a cask strength of 57.4% in a 200ml bottle.
The distillery's rich peaty character is tempered here by first-fill bourbon and refill casks.
The whisky is described as having pipe tobacco, smoked kippers and charred oak, softened by toffee, toasted coconut, freshly sliced vanilla pods and custard creams.
