Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release 2024 is a limited edition Islay single malt from Diageo, bottled at a cask strength of 57.4% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured only in first fill bourbon barrels. The whisky has a creamy, distinctly waxy texture. It tastes very sweet at first, then dries quickly, with a sprinkling of salt and a controlled smokiness.
