Lagavulin 16 Year Old is an Islay single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is regarded as the quintessential Islay malt and has been revered for years.
The nose is classic, with medicinal and maritime aromas. The palate brings a big kick of peat smoke along with brine, wax and tar.
The finish is long and oily.
