Lagavulin 16 Year Old is an Islay single malt matured for 16 years in oak, with bourbon casks used for the ageing. The Lagavulin distillery dates from 1816 and stands between Ardbeg and Laphroaig.
The whisky won a gold medal at the World Whiskies Awards in 2019.
Its flavours are described as intense, sweet and smoky, with seaweed and dried fruit, and a peaty, iodine character.
