Lagavulin 16 Year Old is an Islay single malt matured in oak casks for at least sixteen years. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The nose leads with peat smoke, iodine and seaweed, with a deep sweetness behind the coastal aromas. The body is rich, and the palate pairs dry smoke with sweetness, sea salt and wood. Salt, seaweed and peat carry through a long finish.
