This is a Lagavulin 16 Year Old single malt from Islay, bottled by White Horse Distillers at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It has no box.
The nose has dried figs, citrus peel and berries, with clove, heather and oak smokiness. On the palate caramelised sugar leads, with smoked barley, dark chocolate and black olives, and the mouthfeel is oily and rich. The finish is long and lingering, with sea salt, walnuts and a warm, peaty note.
