Lagavulin 18 Year Old Feis Ile 2018 is an Islay single malt made for the island's festival. It was bottled in February 2018 at 53.9% ABV, in an edition of 6,000 bottles.
It combines refill and rejuvenated American oak hogsheads with European bodega butts.
The nose brings peat and sea spray, toasted oak, salted caramel, candied citrus, raisin and tobacco. The palate is rich and intense, with smoke, spice, leather, vanilla and sherry. The finish is long and elegant, with peat, spiced wood and dried fruit.
