This Lagavulin was distilled in 1979 and matured for 23 years in oak casks. Murray McDavid bottled it for its Mission series at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle and at natural colour. Only 600 bottles were released, signed by Jim McEwan.
Murray McDavid was established in 1994 and was one of the first bottlers to use a variety of casks in maturation.
