Lagavulin – 1993 Single Cask 2007 Feis Ile (56.5%)

Lagavulin 1993 Single Cask is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, bottled exclusively for the 2007 Feis Ile Festival at a natural cask strength of 56.5% ABV. It was distilled in 1993, matured in a single re-charred Oloroso sherry butt and bottled in 2007. Just 708 individually numbered bottles were released. Re-charred Oloroso casks add a depth of char, spice and richness. It is described as powerful yet balanced, combining peat smoke and maritime character with deep sherry sweetness.
