Lagavulin 8 Years Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 48%. It first appeared as a limited edition marking the distillery's 200th anniversary, and after a warm reception it became a permanent part of the Lagavulin range.
The 8 year old was previously an iconic expression for the distillery. Its bottling strength is credited with giving it a more pronounced peat character.
