Lagavulin 8 Years is an Islay single malt that first appeared in 2016 as a limited edition marking the distillery's 200th anniversary. It proved popular enough to join the permanent range. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines black pepper, lemon peel and smoke, followed by a hint of chocolate and a salty note. On the palate there is wood smoke, tobacco and honey. The finish is very long and smoky, mixed with spice and chocolate.
