Lagavulin Feis Ile 2022 is a 12 year old Islay single malt bottled at a cask strength of 57.7%. It is the first Feis Ile bottling made under the distillery's new manager, Jordan Paisley.
The whisky was matured in refill American oak hogsheads and then finished in virgin American oak casks.
It is described as unusually rich, full-bodied and sweet-spicy, with powerful oak spice that holds the smoke in check until water is added and lets it come forward.
