This is an 11 year old Islay single malt from Lagavulin, in a 750ml bottle. Sweet Peat sets out to pair peat smoke with sweetness, two qualities often thought of as opposites.
The whisky was aged for 11 years exclusively in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks.
Sweetness comes through the rich peat smoke, with deep undertones of salted caramel and toffee apple, along with subtle notes of spice.
