Lagg Kilmory Edition is a peated single malt from the Lagg distillery on the Isle of Arran in Scotland, named after the village of Kilmory near the distillery. It is the first malt in the distillery's core range, in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured entirely in first-fill bourbon casks and is bottled at 46%, without chill filtration or added colour. The malt has a peat level of 50ppm, giving a smoky, earthy character, and is made with Concerto barley and water from the distillery's own borehole.
Vanilla and creaminess are noted, balanced by the peat.
