This is a peated Small Batch whisky from Lagg Distillery, and the first of the series to be released worldwide. It was matured first in first and second fill bourbon barrels, then finished for over a year in ex-Manzanilla sherry casks.
The malt is peated to 50ppm and bottled at 57.6% in a 70cl bottle. Expect hot honey, cherry syrup and spiced red fruits, set against a salted minerality and the lingering smoke of an ashen bonfire.
