A Lagrein from Kettmeir in Alto Adige, deep and impenetrable in colour. The nose brings ripe forest berries, plum, violet, light earthy notes and a hint of spice. The palate is full but balanced, with well-defined tannins and freshness that keeps it lively, plus good savouriness and fruity returns on the finish. It pairs with roasts, grilled red meat, cured meats, aged cheeses, polenta-based dishes and mushroom dishes. Serve around 16-18 C.
