Lagrein Alto Adige DOC Turmhof Tiefenbrunner

A red wine from Tiefenbrunner, made from Lagrein in the Alto Adige DOC. It shows a deep ruby colour. On the nose there are dark berry fruits such as plum and blackberry, with small red fruits and light spice. On the palate it has structure and well-present tannins, supported by vibrant freshness, with a persistent fruity finish and an earthy note. It suits informal dinners and local dishes, including red meat roasts, mushroom preparations and medium-aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18 C.
