Lagrein Mirell DOC

A Lagrein from Ansitz Waldgries, grown in Alto Adige, where microclimate and altitude bring out the character of this native grape. In the glass it shows violet reflections, with a complex bouquet of ripe forest fruits, plum and a spicy touch of black pepper. On the palate it is enveloping, with soft, well-integrated tannins that underline its structure without weighing down the drink. The persistent finish leaves a pleasant savoury and slightly mineral note. It suits red meat, game and aged cheeses.
