Lagrein Riserva Fallwind Alto Adige DOC - St. Michael Eppan

A red wine from Alto Adige, made from Lagrein and aged as a Riserva. It shows dark berry fruit, cherry and spicy notes, with a slight earthy hint. The palate is concentrated but controlled, with well-integrated tannins and acidity that supports the structure. The finish tends towards persistence. It suits braised meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses, and can also accompany richer, more savoury dishes. Serve at a moderate temperature; a short period in a carafe before opening may help its expressiveness. It can develop in bottle over several years when stored correctly.
