Laizhou Fino Sherry Cask Chinese Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Laizhou Fino Sherry Cask is a Chinese single malt from the Laizhou distillery, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a fino sherry cask, which gives a drier, nuttier sherry character. Light fruit, nuts, malt and dry spice lead, rather than heavy sweetness. The nose offers light fruit, almonds, malt and dry sherry notes. On the palate it is fruity and spicy, with nuts, caramel, malt and fine oak. The finish is medium in length and dry, with nutty spice.
