Lallier Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne (75cl)

This is a Blanc de Blancs Champagne from Lallier, a house that has made Champagne since 1906. It is made entirely from Chardonnay grown in Grand Cru vineyards. Sixty per cent of the fruit comes from Aÿ, a village better known for Pinot Noir, and the remaining 40% from plots on the Côte des Blancs in Avize, Cramant and Oger. In the glass it shows golden-green tints. The nose is fine and elegant, with citrus and brioche, and the palate is slightly sweet, full and generous, with a rich mousse.
