LangeTwins Family Winery Sand Point Zinfandel 2019 (75cl, 15%)

Sand Point Zinfandel 2019 is a Californian red from LangeTwins Family Winery in Lodi, made from selected parcels of the family's own vineyards, where the vines average a little over 30 years old. The wine is aged partly, and mainly in American oak that has been used once or twice, which lets the Zinfandel fruit show without heavy oak. The Lange family arrived in Lodi in 1870, and Sand Point is their flagship range. The nose offers ripe, spicy berries, balanced by an appetising acidity that lifts the wine.
