Langhe DOC Nebbiolo Bric Amel Marchesi di Barolo

A red wine from the Langhe DOC, made from Nebbiolo. It shows a ruby colour with light garnet hints, and opens with small red fruits, dried flowers, light spice and an earthy note. The profile is balanced, with fine aromatics and good freshness. On the palate the tannins are present but measured, supported by savouriness and a persistence that recalls the aromas. It pairs naturally with red meats, not overly fatty game, mushroom dishes and aged cheeses, and is also pleasant with ragù pasta and local traditional preparations.
