Laphroaig – 10 Year Old (75cl, 43%)

Laphroaig 10 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 43% in a 750ml bottle. The distillery was established in 1815. The malted barley is dried over a peat fire, which gives the whisky its smoky character. Islay peat, layered with seaweed and an underlying sweetness, shapes a full-bodied malt with a long finish. The nose offers bold peat smoke with seaweed and brine. The palate is full-bodied, with intense smoke, medicinal notes and a surprising sweetness, and the finish is long and smoky.
