This is a 34 year old Laphroaig, the fourth book in the Ian Hunter Story series. It is a tribute to Ian Hunter, who shaped the distillery, and to his love of being boldly different. It was matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, and keeps the signature Laphroaig peat character. The colour is rich honey. The nose is rich, with the classic Laphroaig smoke beneath. Pineapple and peach come through on the palate, and the finish is long and ashy.
