Laphroaig – 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 13 (2021) (70cl, 57.9%)

Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 13 is an Islay single malt, a limited edition from 2021 and the thirteenth batch of the Original Cask Strength series. It is bottled at 57.9% vol. in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and has a very smoky character with a full body. Laphroaig stands on a bay on Islay and has been on the same site since it was founded in 1815. The nose is peaty with seaweed and a little vanilla. The palate is peaty, lightly sweet, intense and warming, and the finish is long, spicy and complex.
