This is the 15th release in Laphroaig's yearly cask strength series, a 10 year old Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in seasoned and charred oak barrels and is not chill-filtered.
The nose brings iodine, seaspray, vanilla and peat smoke. The palate is creamy and oily, with smoked meat, tarry ropes and more smoke, and the finish is medicinal with a hint of nuttiness.
