Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength is an Islay whisky bottled straight from the cask without dilution, in a 70cl bottle. Its strength varies from batch to batch, generally around 57 to 59%. The nose is robust, with peat, sea notes and a delicate sweetness of vanilla and malt. On the palate it is complex and powerful, with peat and smoke balanced by chocolate, spice and a pinch of sea salt. The finish is long and warm, with a smoky echo.
