Laphroaig – 10 Year Old Sherry Oak Finish (70cl, 48%)

This is a Laphroaig single malt from Islay, aged for ten years and then finished in sherry casks. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle as a limited edition. The finishing casks are European oak that previously held sweet Oloroso sherry. The aim is to pair the character of the regular Laphroaig 10 Year Old with the sweetness and added depth of the sherry wood. The notes run to Manuka honey, grilled bacon and maple syrup, alongside the peat smoke and seaweed that Laphroaig is known for.
