Laphroaig – 10 Year Old Sherry Oak Finish Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Laphroaig 10 Year Sherry Oak Finish is a limited expression from the Islay distillery. It takes the heavily peated Laphroaig 10 Year and gives it a secondary maturation in Oloroso sherry casks. The Oloroso finish adds sweetness, dried fruit and warm spice, set against the distillery's medicinal peat, iodine and maritime character. The peat remains clearly present and dominant. Expect medicinal peat and iodine with a layer of dried fruit and spice from the sherry.
