This is an Islay single malt from Laphroaig, made by taking the 10 year old whisky and finishing it in Oloroso sherry casks. The casks are European oak, chosen to suit the character of the distillery's spirit.
The sherry adds sweetness and depth while the whisky keeps its familiar Laphroaig character. Expect a full-bodied flavour of Manuka honey, bacon and maple syrup, alongside smoke, seaweed and a hint of salt.
