Laphroaig Sherry Oak Finish is a 10 year old Islay single malt, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It takes the character of the standard 10 Year Old and adds Oloroso sherry casks made from European oak.
The sherry casks bring extra sweetness to the classic Laphroaig profile of smoke, seaweed and a touch of salt, with manuka honey, bacon and maple syrup in the flavour.
The nose is sweet and peaty with medicinal manuka honey, strong clove and grilled smoked bacon. The palate is sweet and aromatic, and the finish is long and sweet with spicy chestnut honey.
