Laphroaig – 10 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Aged 10 years, bottled at 40% ABV, 70cl. Laphroaig Distillery was established in 1815 on the southern shore of the Isle of Islay, Argyll. One of Scotland's most distinctive distilleries, it is known for its use of locally cut peat in the malting of its barley, and holds a Royal Warrant as distiller and supplier of single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery is operated by D. Johnston & Co. (Laphroaig) and is today part of the Beam Suntory group. This is the classic 10 Year Old expression, distilled and bottled at Laphroaig Distillery on the Isle of Islay and presented at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle with its original cylindrical tube. The label carries the Royal Warrant of HRH The Prince of Wales and the 'Friends of Laphroaig' invitation on the tube.
