Laphroaig 10 Year Old is an Islay single malt, matured mainly in old bourbon casks of American white oak. The recipe is said to have stayed the same for the last 75 years.
The colour is gold. The nose gives iodine, peat smoke and seaweed. On the palate there is more smoke, with oyster and sweet notes of vanilla and muscovado sugar, leading to a dry finish.
