Laphroaig 10 Year Old is a single malt from Islay, in a 70cl bottle, matured for ten years in selected casks. It is known for heavy smoke and salty notes.
The nose is vigorous peat smoke over vanilla and malt, with hints of seaweed and iodine. The palate is full-bodied and oily: peat smoke, moderate liquorice sweetness and a touch of charred wood, with dark chocolate and coffee emerging slowly. The finish is long, slightly salty and a little spicy.
