Laphroaig 10 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. The barley is dried over a peat fire, and the smoke from Islay peat gives the whisky its rich flavour.
The nose is smoky, with briny seaweed, a subtle medicinal note and a touch of sweetness. The palate shows an unexpected sweetness alongside hints of salt and layers of peat. The finish is long, ending in a sweet seaweed note.
