This is Laphroaig aged 10 years, an Islay single malt bottled at cask strength as Batch 13, in a 70cl bottle. The nose is described as complex and strong. Smoke and iodine lead the flavour, with salted caramel and oak close behind, and sweet vanilla, pepper and grilled meat round out the palate. The finish is of medium length, leaving smoke, salted caramel and vanilla, with iodine and ash also present.
