Laphroaig – 10 Years Old (70cl, 40%)

A 10 year old Islay single malt from Laphroaig, matured in bourbon casks and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Peat is central to its character. It is described as peaty, phenolic and salty, with everything people look for in an Islay whisky. The nose has medicinal hints. On the palate it is phenolic, with peat, liquorice and a light sweetness, and the finish is long and phenolic.
