This is a 12 year old Laphroaig single malt from Islay, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company as Batch 1. Only 421 bottles were produced, each 50cl at 52.4% ABV.
The nose has grilled bananas, diced fig, citrus zest, cardamom and toasted barrel staves. On the palate come medicinal peat, sugared almonds, juicy white fruits and nutmeg, and the finish brings salted caramel with lasting smoky warmth and a little saltiness.
