Laphroaig 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt from the distillery on the island's south coast, where whisky has been made since 1815. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The 15 Year Old was first released in 1985, discontinued around 2016 and brought back by Laphroaig in 2026. The distillery describes it as bold, coastal and uncompromising, with extra richness and balance.
The distillery's own note has citrus on the nose, then smoke, sea salt, pepper and spice on the palate, and a long smoky finish. Tasters also mention gentle earthiness, soft vanilla and a touch of smoky barbecue on the nose, and a lift of fruit on the palate.
