Laphroaig 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt matured for 15 years in ex-bourbon casks in the distillery's warehouses on the island. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The long maturation adds depth and complexity, while the peat smoke and coastal character of Laphroaig remain. The nose offers fresh citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, dried hay, vanilla and nutmeg. On the palate come peat smoke, sea salt, black pepper and warm spices.
