The peat character of Laphroaig is softened by age, with a subtle medicinal note.
The nose opens with sweet vanilla and toffee, touched by orchard fruits and cinnamon. The palate is richly textured, with ripe orange, nectarine, herbal depth, heathery honey and gentle ginger spice. The finish is long and savoury, with lingering smoky richness.
