Laphroaig – 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Aged 18 years, bottled at 48% ABV, 70cl. This former version of the core range 18-year-old was launched in 2009 as the replacement for the much-loved 15-year-old. A world-renowned Islay distillery, famous for its distinctive character of its heavily peated spirit and it has one of the longest-serving single malt brands. It was built in 1815 by Alexander and Donald Johnston and is today owned by Suntory Holdings through its Beam Suntory division.
