Laphroaig – 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Aged 18 years, bottled at 48% ABV, 70cl. Laphroaig Distillery was established in 1815 on the south coast of Islay, and is one of the island's most celebrated producers. The distillery is known for its heavily peated house style and holds a Royal Warrant as distiller and supplier of single malt Scotch whisky to HRH The Prince of Wales. It is currently owned by Beam Suntory. This 18 Year Old expression is matured for 18 years in ex-bourbon barrels, bottled at 48% ABV and presented non-chill filtered. It is produced in limited quantities each year and is presented in the distillery's signature white and green cylindrical tube.
