Laphroaig – 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Aged 18 years, bottled at 48% ABV, 70cl. Laphroaig Distillery was established in 1815 on the southern shore of Islay and is one of the most recognised names in Scotch whisky. Owned by Beam Suntory, it is renowned for its heavily peated, maritime character. The distillery holds a Royal Warrant as distiller and supplier of Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This 18 Year Old expression is distilled and bottled at Laphroaig Distillery on the Isle of Islay. Matured for 18 years in ex-bourbon barrels, it is bottled at 48% ABV. The bottling is presented in the distillery's current white and green livery and carries the signature of Distillery Manager Barry MacAffer on the carton.
