Laphroaig – 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Laphroaig (Islay). Aged 18 years, bottled at 48% ABV, 70cl. Laphroaig Distillery was founded in 1815 on the south coast of Islay, and is among the most celebrated of all Islay single malt producers. Long held under the ownership of Beam Suntory, it holds a Royal Warrant as distiller and supplier of single malt Scotch whisky to HRH The Prince of Wales. This 18 Year Old expression is distilled and bottled at Laphroaig Distillery on the Isle of Islay. Matured for 18 years in ex-bourbon barrels, it is bottled at 48% ABV and non-chill filtered. The expression is produced in limited quantities each year.
