Long held under the ownership of Beam Suntory, it holds a Royal Warrant as distiller and supplier of single malt Scotch whisky. This bottling forms part of the Laphroaig Cairdeas programme — a series of single cask and special releases selected by members of the Friends of Laphroaig.
