This is a 25 year old Laphroaig Islay single malt, bottled at cask strength, 53.4% vol, in a 70cl bottle.
It is a vatting of casks chosen from the distillery's best by the Master Distiller, and it shows the peat of Islay alongside its age.
The nose is sweet and floral, with honey, thyme, clove, white pepper, peat and lemon. On the palate it is sweet and herbal, with honey, wood, lime, salt and pepper. The finish is dry, floral, salty and maritime.
