This is a 25 year old Islay single malt from Laphroaig, bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 47.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It spent a quarter of a century maturing in ex-bourbon casks, and it pairs Laphroaig's robust character with a soft sweetness. The colour is pale gold.
The nose offers pears, green apples, vanilla, puff pastry and peat smoke. On the palate there are pineapple, peach, mango, white pepper, orange peel and more peat smoke.
